Goal 2: Living the Dream
An excellent movie, though it lacks some points in the story section. Its about a footballer Muniez who plays for Newcastle (English football club). He then gets an offer to play for Real Madrid, the football giant who isn’t having a nice run. He then shifts to Madrid where he finds a friend in Gabbin or Cabbin Harris….the star footballer who is currently not in form. The entire film revolves around Muniez , his association with Real Madrid and his relations with his mother and his girl-friend. The movie does seem boring at times when there ain’t any matches or emotional scenes going on. The flim does have its emotional quotient, and this is shown when Muniez meets his once-separated mother and his brother, and when he comes back to take care of his girl-friend whom he ignored coz of the fame he got. Overall a nice movie, and the final part is the best where Arsenal plays against Real Madrid. Music is nice and apt and characters do full justice to their roles (this Muniez does seem a hot headed man!).
I’d give it a 3.5/5
